We’re committed to supporting local communities and organizations that work to make them stronger. Due to the volume of requests for sponsorships and donations, we've implemented policies that guide our decision-making process. Please review the guidelines before making your request.
TBCU will only consider requests from non-profit organizations that serve at least one of the seven counties that make up Greater Houston. Organizations that focus specifically on one or more of the following areas will be given priority consideration.

- Health, wellness, and improved quality of life
- Financial literacy and quality education
- Foster growth and community development
Eligibility:
TBCU will not fund:

- Any group that is not qualified as a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)3 (Proof will be required)
- Organizations and projects whose purpose is religious, legislative, or political
- Request for individuals
- Requests that do not meet the response requirement
Due to the volume of requests, please allow 45 days to receive a response. Inquiries needing an immediate decision will not be considered. All responses will be communicated by email to the address provided on the application. Requests are limited to once per calendar year.
As a not-for-profit cooperative, Texas Bay CU has a limited budget to distribute across amazing charitable organizations. As we continually evaluate our focus and community outreach, some resource allocations may change. When an organization receives a donation, it does not guarantee a commitment for the following year. Likewise, receiving a decline does not mean it will be so next year. Denial of qualified organizations is not a judgment on the worthiness of the requestor, but due to limited funding.
